Darrell & Dawn met onstage…literally, performing in a stage production of the classic “Miracle On 34th St. Life would soon imitate art, and they were married in 2012. They reside in the small NW Georgia town of Taylorsville (pop 211) and are members of Spring Creek Baptist Church in Rome. They have been an active performing duo since 2013, taking their unique brand of Christian music to churches, charities, and organizations across the southeastern US.
About 130 times a year, the Ritchies strike out on the road with the aim of lifting up the Name of Christ so that men may be drawn to Him (John 12:32) through the use of their distinctive harmonies, authentic lyrics, and heartfelt testimony of God’s amazing grace and provision. “Wherever He may lead us,” says Darrell. With an eclectic sound reminiscent of Nashville’s country-blues scene, the Ritchies have become one of the most unique and original artists in gospel music today.
