OFF trip to Biblical History Center

May 22 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

If you are O.F.F. (Over Fifty Fellowship) make plans to travel to the Biblical History Center in LaGrange, GA. The Biblical History Center (formerly called Explorations in Antiquity) is a fascinating archaeological museum that explores daily life in ancient times. It helps people encounter the ancient biblical world through its history and culture. The highlight of any visit to the Biblical History Center is a walk through the Archaeological Replica Garden where full-scale reconstructions of structures relevant to daily life in Biblical times bring history to life.

Four areas of ancient life are represented in our Archaeological Replica Garden: Life of the Shepherd, Life of the Farmer, Life of the Village, and Roman Theater and Market Street. Your tour will leave you with a new understanding of life in Old and New Testament times.

The cost of the production and tour in the Archaeological Replica Garden is $35.00 for adults. This includes admission to the Biblical Life Artifacts Gallery, which houses 250 biblical period artifacts from the Israel Antiquities Authority! Through authentic archaeological replicas, daily life artifacts in the Biblical Life Artifacts Gallery, lectures, and other personal experiences, ancient Middle Eastern life comes back to life today.

We will leave at 9:00 AM. We will stop after our tour to enjoy lunch together. (Please note you will be responsible for purchasing lunch.)  To reserve your place, please get your cost of admission to Mrs. Roberta no later than Wednesday, May 8th.  If you have any questions, please see Bro. Mark or visit https://biblicalhistorycenter.com/
